We started strongly, taking the first quarter 16–13 and building on this momentum into the second, extending our lead to 30–23 at half-time. Some fantastic shooting in the attacking end, combined with strong defensive pressure and well-timed turnovers, helped us maintain control throughout the first half.
We continued our strong performance into the third quarter, extending our lead to 44–40 with some excellent teamwork across the court.
The fourth quarter was a real test, with the opposition fighting back and closing the gap. However, we kept our composure, stayed level-headed and continued to fight for every ball. Our determination ensured the opposition couldn’t pull away, bringing us level at 55–55 at the final whistle.
A brilliant team effort, with plenty of positives to take away. A well-earned draw after a competitive game from start to finish!
