A strong performance from the girls, taking an early lead with some tight marking, great spacing and connection on court.
In the 2nd & 3rd quarters it was very even seeing the scores in a draw at the end of the 3rd quarter. The pressure was on and it would have been easy to buckle against a strong, physical team. However, the girls remained composed and played some excellent netball that saw us turning the ball over, some lovely passages of play and a fantastic mental strength right to the end. Final winning score 33-26. Very proud of the girls and the brilliant netball on display today.
