A fantastic game that was far closer than the scoreline suggests. It was an evenly matched contest throughout, with some really strong passages of play.
As our passing sharpened up, we moved the ball down the court with confidence and control. Defensively, the team worked tirelessly against highly accurate shooters, creating some valuable turnovers and giving our centre court the chance to drive play forward.
The effort for every goal was clear, and our shooters showed great confidence, sinking some impressive long-range shots.
