This morning out Kent senior team played against Macklins. The first quarter started slow with us finishing one goal up 12-11. We found in the second quarter that playing with more patience in the attacking end working the ball to the circle edge and the shooters playing themselves in worked really well. This was as well as the defence playing tighter to their opposition preventing them creating any space to receive the ball, this was beneficial and allowed us to win this quarter 18-9. Having 12 players we decided to make more changes to avoid our opposition starting to react to our play, this quarter was very even both teams scoring 10 goals. In the last quarter of the match the defence continued to up the pressure which caused the opposition to give us more opportunities and the attack remained consistent with working the ball into the shooting circle, winning 16-6. It was great to see such positive play with some new combinations introduced, well played everyone and to Amy CP for POM!
