We made an excellent start, taking an early 8-goal lead and finishing the first quarter 13–9 ahead. We stayed calm, kept our heads high and continued to build momentum, leading 25–15 at half time.
Our shooters worked well, with different combinations giving their all. Strong centre-court players helped the attack reset, reposition and create scoring opportunities, while our defence produced important intercepts and rebounds whilst maintaining stamina well.
The support from the bench was also fantastic, with constant encouragement helping to keep the players motivated and positive on court throughout the game.
Comets showed real determination throughout the game! A fantastic team effort from new and experienced players, working together to secure a well-deserved victory.
