Comets 41 vs TTE Panthers 48

Comets took the first five minutes to adjust with some new combinations which TTE Panthers took the opportunity to take a large goal lead with their defensive pressure and their play working quickly down to their shooters.

Going into the second quarter Comets worked patiently for each other and didn't rush as many balls into the shooting circle. The defensive support was always there for our attack should they have needed to reset. Our centre and attack were well positioned around the circle to feed our shooters a more accurate ball. TTE Panthers still took a strong lead at half time.

Comets made some changes going into the second half which applied some more pressure throughout the whole court, which allowed us to win that quarter 15-11. The level of communication between players also increased which positively impacted Comets play. It was great to see the positivity and teamwork from the squad throughout the match. With TTE strong attack they maintained there lead with the final score of 41-48 to to them.

Massive well done to Fiona for opposition player and for players player!!
