Maidstone League Semi-Final
A tough semi-final saw us lose 31-47 after a competitive performance against strong opposition.
We trailed 7-11 after the first quarter and 14-27 at half time. Changes at the break, including switching the defensive unit and introducing a new GA, gave us fresh momentum. The team responded well, winning the third quarter 8-6 with plenty of defensive pressure and turnovers. Despite creating numerous turnover opportunities throughout the match, our conversion rate into goals was lower than we'd have liked, allowing the opposition to extend their lead in the final quarter (9-14).
Although the result wasn't what we wanted, there were plenty of positives to build on, particularly our defensive work and resilience throughout the game
